Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Batang is located in Jl. Slamet Riyadi No.29 Batang, which covers education from playschool to high school. The conclusion of interview with the head of Program dan Masyarakat subdivision, there are some people who do not know detailed information related to schools in Kabupaten Batang. This problem make parents worry about sending their children to the next level of education, due to the lack of school information they get. Nowadays, an innovation of information System that provide areas information more reliable, for example Geographic Information System. Based on this, the research would present topic about Application of Google Maps API to map Primary and Junior High Schools in Kabupaten Batang. This mapping has aim to help the community who need information about schools in Kabupaten Batang without come to the schools. Observation and interview were used in this research for data collecting, and prototype method was used for software development method. A software that was builded give information schools location and a detailed about each school. Moreover, some pictures are given, so that can help community in Kabupaten Batang know better. For future research, additional location points between DISDIKBUD and the schools in Kabupaten Batang is necessary needed.
